　　“红绿灯”是国际统一的交通信号灯，由红灯、绿灯、黄灯组成。红灯表示禁止通行，绿灯表示准许通行，黄灯表示警示。再来说说它的英文表达：

　　说到“红绿灯”的英文，估计又有很多人会说“red and green light”，或者再加个yellow，这种说法显然不地道也不准确，其实“红绿灯”也就是交通信号灯，我们可以直接说traffic lights或者traffic signal lights
